As the staffing industry continues to evolve at a rapid pace, so are staffing and recruiting events evolving to keep attendees informed and armed to take action. While summer vacations may have wrapped up and the kids are back in school, there are plenty of opportunities to stay on top of industry trends and have a bit of fun at the same time. 😊

To help you map out your fall calendar, here are some of our favorite events coming up before the holiday season begins:

1. NAPS Conference

September 22-24, San Antonio

Always wanted to visit the Lonestar State? There is rich, American history in San Antonio, along with a host of speakers, workshops and sessions to help you rise above the competition and land more, better talent in 2020 at the NAPS Conference.

2. SourceCon

September 23-25, Atlanta

Pledging real conversations and real networking opportunities, SourceCon 2019 promises to go beyond sourcing to dig into candidate engagement strategies, tips for attracting candidates, advice to help you increase your response rate, implement diversity solutions and more.

3. LinkedIn Talent Connect

September 25-27, Dallas

An eclectic group of speakers (headlined by Former First Lady Michelle Obama) and networking opportunities promises to help you hire, engage and develop a winning team. The 10-year anniversary of LinkedIn’s annual conference promises to deliver an exceptional experience for attendees.

Network and gain insights from talent acquisition pros across a range of industries and disciplines. Learn what’s working and what’s not, and gain insight and perspective from your talent acquisition “neighbors.” The sense of community at this event is palpable.

4. HR Technology Conference & Expo

October 1-4, Las Vegas

The HR Technology Conference & Expo comes to the Venetian, in the heart of the Vegas Strip. With powerful technology fueling innovation and optimization in HR (like, ahem, yours truly), this conference is poised to connect you with people, ideas and technology to help you refine and improve your own processes and results.

5. Staffing World

October 15-17, Las Vegas

Las Vegas is apparently the place to be this October! The premier event for the staffing industry, Staffing World is a must-do for just about everyone in our field. Of course, you’ll be able to find the Sense Team in Las Vegas this year at Booth 623 -- we can’t wait to see you at the MGM Grand!

For 2019, ASA is touting a “completely revamped” event, with more networking opportunities and information sharing than ever before.  With more than 60 speakers and over 25 sessions, all with the backdrop of the Vegas strip...well, it’s hard to let this one pass you by 👍

6. ERE Recruiting Conference

October 14-16, Washington, D.C.

Can’t make it to Vegas for Staffing World? Try D.C. instead! At the ERE Recruiting Conference, you’ll hear from top industry speakers with actionable advice to improve and refine your recruiting efforts. Combined with their annual Candidate Experience Symposium and Awards Gala, you’ll be immersed in some of the most pressing themes and issues facing recruiting today.

7. Glassdoor Recruit

October 23, San Francisco

Visit the Bay Area this fall for a jam-packed day to learn cutting-edge talent acquisition strategies, take a look at what's next for Glassdoor, and examine closely some of the latest research that gets into the minds of candidates.

8. TechServe Alliance 2019 Conference & Trade Show

November 5-7, Huntington Beach, CA

Geared specifically toward IT and engineering staffing firms, TSA’s annual conference and trade show packs in valuable sessions and speakers that dig into every facet of running a successful tech staffing and recruiting firm. With sessions and opportunities for just about every member of your team, this event is truly value packed. As the weather cools down in much of the country, TSA is heating things up in “Surf City.”

9. RecruitCon

November 14-15, Nashville

Get away to Nashville for a few days before the craziness of the holidays -- RecruitCon has an ambitious agenda that digs into recruiting processes and strategies, analytics and technology, and more to help you step it up and take your recruiting efforts to the next level.

10. SIA Executive Forum Europe

November 19-20, London

We LOVE heading to Europe each fall for this incredible event from Staffing Industry Analysts. Geared toward CEOs and other staffing leaders, this meeting digs into the important topics, trends and research you’ll be using in 2020 and beyond to grow your firm.
